Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, and raised in Miami, FL, Alvaro Pereira is a Managing Member of AMP Aero Services. He is responsible for leading the strategic direction and growth of the company. With over 21 years of experience in the aviation and aerospace industry, Alvaro has been instrumental in the success of multiple startup businesses.
Alvaro's career began at the age of 17 in shipping and receiving, where he developed a foundational understanding of the industry. Over the years, he has gained extensive product knowledge and company management skills, which he has applied to drive the success of AMP Aero. His career has included roles as Director and Vice President, where he honed his expertise in airframe and engine teardowns, financial modeling, sales, and the establishment of key processes for business success.
Alvaro has been involved in over 50 airframe and engine teardowns, bringing a wealth of practical experience to AMP Aero. He is proficient in creating financial models, managing complex teardown projects, and driving sales growth. His educational background includes attending George T. Baker Aviation School in Miami, FL.
Alvaro's vision for AMP Aero is to become the largest global parts provider in the aviation industry. Outside of the office, he enjoys pursuing his passion for cars.
